Outside of Class:
- Print notes off Blackboard.

- When we finish a section in lecture the odd numbered problems of that section are automatically assigned. Do not wait for me to say, "Do the problems from sections... ."
- Check your work in the back of the book after every few problems. If you are missing them, figure out why or get help.
- You should be spending a minimum of two hours outside of class for each hour inside of class. That is a minimum of 8 1/2 hours a week on homework! Recitation and lab time does not count toward this time!
A few notes about behavior:
- Be on time to all parts of this course.
- Be on task during the entire class period.
- During class, cell phones and pagers must be turned off or set to a silent mode. Cell phones may not be used as calculators.
- Be respectful to the lecture leader, lab assistant, and other students.
- Do your own work! Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated on any assignment, including daily attendance problems.
How can I be successful in this class?
